Everyone takes the time to prepare for Christmas – from buying gifts, to planning parties, to decorating the house, celebrating this season requires spending time to get ready. In the Bible, God takes the time to prepare His people for the coming of their Savior; spiritual readiness is necessary for us as we get ready for the coming of our Savior! In the Advent season, we’ll spend the four weeks leading up to Christmas reflecting on the stories and the songs of Zechariah and Mary, and God’s work of preparing us for Salvation.
