God has a way of getting our attention — and calling us to action. When his people had drifted away from Him, He communicated in vivid, and dramatic ways. Sometimes, that message was meant to warn them of spiritual danger, and just as often, he would reassure them when they were broken and weary. God’s word still communicates to us this same message – a Father tenderly desiring to draw his children close, while warning them against the dangers of sin. This fall, we’ll be hearing a series of messages from the Minor Prophets and we’ll be both challenged and encouraged to live out our relationship with God in day to day life.
